The Bureau of Fire Safety website!

Our primary responsibilities include but are not limited to: Fire Inspections of commercial, educational, houses of worship and multi-housing buildings, Fire Investigations and Fire Prevention activities.

We work closely with the East Brunswick Board of Education to provide fire safety programs to the students. We visit each elementary school during Fire Prevention Week to conduct fire safety programs. We visit each 3rd grade in April with our Fire Safety House trailer to teach home fire safety. We conduct kitchen fire safety programs in the Foods classes in the middle school.


Residents of East Brunswick Fire District 1 and 3 selling or renting their home will need a “Certificate of Smoke alarm, carbon monoxide alarm” (CSACMAC).
